Fall Comes . . .
The wind whines outside my window
a white blanket lies down upon the land
the trees seem barren and oh so alone
and the chilling cold has enveloped
my world
and yet I know winter
is losing its hold on us all
Spring’s thaw is on its way
as is the summer heat and soon
Fall will be here chilling
my bones once more.
