And Yet . . .

And Yet . . .

A darkened path leads
to nowhere just ends in the air
and yet maybe it continues on to
a place so beautiful we just
can’t see it what if . . .

what if what we can’t see is really
there just invisible a slope of a
nose rounds and seems to fall away
but does it maybe it continues to
a point . . .

what if the land continues beyond
the shores of a lake it seems to end
to stop at its edge what if the imaginary
is real and the real is imaginary what
if everything is flipped on its ass

and what if we are the only ones
to see it . . . words like crazy
will be said will be heard and yet
the realm of possibility never
precludes any of it.
